WVO is popular

I went to a sushi place for lunch and pitched the line for taking his oil. I wasn't quick enough! He already has someone taking his oil.

If you own a restaurant in Vernon BC and you would like someone to take away your used cooking oil (WVO, SVO, fryer oil) at no cost for you (free) then please contact me or leave a comment on my blog!

Well hopefully that will bring up more results in a search engine. Likewise if you're in vernon and know someone that works at a restaurant then please let them know a responsible, clean-cut guy is willing to save them money!

straining for oil

Well it's like pulling teeth. I've been around and am having trouble getting a hold of more sources. I'll keep up with my letters and see what I can do!

In other news I fixed my dash display and all! I've been troubleshooting my a/c system (it's getting hot out) as well and should fix that issue as best I can.

I partially solved my baffle problem by hooking up a fuel pickup that's a lot deeper. I drove all the way back from kamloops on a tank full (ended up on empty when into Vernon).

I added a return line because my 1 liter overflow container did just that. overflowed many a liter during the trip home! It'll be cleaner and just gooder all together.

Baffled

Well I need baffles. My wife will write the blog update from our trip to Victoria this past weekend, but lets just say I need baffles for my tank.

Anyway I thought I'd post a funny article. Note the ignorance of the writers. When they say Biodiesel they really mean straight vegetable oil.

it figures

As usual when I leave on a trip, it snows...

I guess we'll see if it clears up. I put my oil in the back and there doesn't seem to be a lot of room for luggage. I guess we'll have to patiently wait and see!.

In other news I was trying to purge the air of the system and stalled it a couple times on the freeway. Almost got run over by a semi too. Oy vey! If I can't figure it out by this afternoon I'll take a different car.

Grumble. Grmumble.

Communication barrier

Well things didn't go so well today. I sized up a chinese buffet for a target, but things didn't end up working correctly. She said she didn't want to give me their oil. They PAY to get rid of it! All I wanted was to take it for free! I need to explain more details as I'm sure it sounds strange.

Ah well, I'll keep looking. I wonder where I'll go next.

Oh and I got a nail removed from my tire. Then they told me after I paid that My car needs an alignment and new tires. There's no end of bills!

Ca Marche!

Don't read it literally, it's a... what's the word... not idiosyncracy... not colloquial, but a whatcha ma call it. I can't remember, but basically in context it means, "That works!".

Anyway I received my parts and it works now. I'm driving on oil, but I need to do a couple of little things for maintenance. But the switch works (both new and old it seems) and We'll be making our first long trip on oil. It's a trip to Victoria! I'll be bringing all my spare tools I can muster. And oil.

So I drove and drove and purged and drove. I got my parts for the transmission flaring and it seemed to work, but I made an adjustment and am now having problems. What a fuss. I need to tinker some more.

I need more oil too!

My wife made turkey for dinner

Yes, we had a big feast of turkey on Friday. I had some for lunch. Hats off to my wife's cooking. And for putting up with all this conversion stuff.

Going away for a week, sorry to disappoint my one reader. Yes You!

I received my wire from eBay. I'll figure out how I'm going to set it up later.

Enjoy this post with all its grammerly goodness!
