A CHAPTER ENDED.
Rather than delete the sometimes embarrassing blog, I've decided to just conclude it and say that it was a learning experience and an interesting conversation starter.

update
the mercedes is off the road. It's currently covered in snow. There is a slim chance of resurrection, but I have to find time to dig it out and look at the timing.
If I can get an engine for cheap I will be popping a new one and transmission to boot. That'll give me a working vehicle and reduce the $200 a month gas bill.

That long eh?
So good news... except that the gov't doesn't want me to pay taxes. at least they act that way. They can't give me straight answers...
So what has happened?
I started making biodiesel. It works... Fixed my brothers mercedes... a couple times. Oh and I rigged up one slick filtration system. My brother's work order the wrong jacuzzi pumps. So I ended up getting one FREE. It's probably worth a few hundred.
I've got the garage done now completely so it's indoors.
I plan on making another heater for the veg (it's cold here). I've also made a couple trips to the coast with the car.
On the mercedes front I have to do a transmission filter change. I'm really hoping that it'll fix some of the problems... At least make it drive smoother in the gears that still work.
Oh and MOST IMPORTANTLY. I have a new daughter. not an old one a NEW ONE. Abigail Pauline. Great stuff, beautiful girl. She'll be a mechanic one day.
